Assemblies

Brainard's teachers endeavor to play enriching educational assemblies for our student body. They work collaboratively to create a balance of experiences that range from storytelling to the arts, always with the intent of having an engaging, enjoyable and academic outcome for the students.

There has been a broad range of assemblies that came to the school including animals from the Sylmar Wildlife Learning Center, Astro Adventures and The Desert Dome from The California Science Center, storytelling from The Music Center, a jazz performance from The Los Angeles Jazz Society, a theatre performance and classroom workshops from Flights of Fantasy theatre group, and a Bye Bye Bully presentation.

School wide assemblies provide a more intimate learning environment for students and allow them to interact with experts from various educational disciplines.
